Read the current weekly time.

Open your Codex Usage settings and identify the allowance labeled weekly. Copy its next reset time, including the date. The date matters when midnight, travel or a time-zone difference makes an isolated clock time ambiguous. If your screen shows usage consumed, subtract it from 100 before entering the remaining percentage.

A payment time is not a new countdown.

OpenAI’s paid-weekly-reset guidance says a new weekly period starts from the first request after the reset has been applied. A payment receipt therefore does not by itself tell you the next weekly reset time. Use the resulting schedule displayed in your account.

Other one-time resets affect the allowances described in the particular offer. After applying one, revisit Usage before reusing an older screenshot or reminder. The saved-reset guide explains the difference between having an offer and redeeming it.

Make a plan from the new reading.

For example, 35% remaining with five days to go gives an even allocation of seven percentage points per day. This is a simple division of the values you supply. It does not estimate how many messages, tokens or coding tasks that percentage can buy.

The manual session planner compares two readings from the same allowance window. If a work session consumes more than that day’s even allocation, it flags the difference. A short session window has its own percentage scale, so its percentage is shown separately.

Update both the clock and its reminder.

When you enter a different time, LimitSlate shows how far your entry moved and keeps the six most recent previous times in this browser. This records your edits; it does not diagnose why the account schedule changed. Export the reminder again after changing the time, and check the result in your calendar app.

A repeat interval is always your own assumption. Select it only if it is useful for planning, then confirm the next actual account time. Advancing an expired clock keeps the old remaining percentage until you update it.
