Where to see your Claude reset times

Anthropic’s guidance for included Pro and Max usage describes a five-hour session limit and a weekly limit. Your Usage screen shows the applicable allowances and reset times. Claude on the web, Claude Code and Claude Desktop share the account’s usage allowance, so changing the interface is not a fresh budget.

Set your Claude clock

Use Claude’s Usage settings (opens in new tab) to find the relevant times. Enter the main reset in the Claude clock, then copy the separate session time if you want both countdowns. Copy the values your account currently shows.

When does the Claude weekly limit reset?

A session limit and a weekly limit describe different windows. Looking at only one can leave you expecting availability while another limit still applies. Treat your provider’s limit message as the decision point. The desk only records what you entered. It cannot check your account.

Check “used” versus “remaining”. If your screen says 70% used, enter 30% remaining. The daily plan divides the remaining percentage by the time until your main reset.

Saved reset offers work differently.

Anthropic sometimes gives eligible plans a reset that appears in your Usage settings with its own expiry. The specific offer may refill a five-hour session limit or a weekly limit. Check its coverage and expiry. Anthropic’s limit-reset article says the normal weekly reset day and time remain in place.

OpenAI describes its Codex reset types separately. Avoid applying one provider’s reset rules to the other. Our reset guide explains the vocabulary used in the public log.

Make the planner useful every day.

Update the remaining percentage after a session. An entry that is more than a day old is flagged as needing an update. No usage is automatically subtracted: the site does not measure messages, model effort or tokens.

For a reset tomorrow, the planner shows what remains until that time. For a later reset, it shows an even daily allocation. You can export a calendar reminder for the exact times you entered; calendar delivery depends on your own calendar settings.

Claude Code and your included allowance

If you use Claude Code, first check how you signed in. The Claude Code usage guide distinguishes subscription usage from API-based metering.

Reset time passed but still blocked?

Read the current Usage screen and the exact limit message. Check both the weekly and session windows; a reset in one does not establish available allowance in the other. If an offered reset was applied, check which allowance the offer covered and keep the usual weekly schedule in view.

Read service status separately.

A public outage can affect availability while an account still has allowance. An exhausted allowance can block an account while a service is operational. Use Claude status (opens in new tab) for service incidents and your own account for usage limits.
